Patna: Ahead of the next year's Lok Sabha elections and not leaving anything to chance, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Bihar on Monday launched a door-to-door campaign to highlight the achievements of the four-year old Narendra Modi government.
Led by party state President Nityanand Rai, party leaders including Bihar Health Minister Mangal Pandey, Agriculture Minister Prem Kumar, legislator Nitin Navin, and party General Secretary Nagendra Ji, BJP leaders began their drive from Sahitya Sammelan in Kadam Kuan and visited several homes and businesses in Kadam Kuan area to let people know how Modi's policies had cut down on corruption and had help grow the economy despite negative propaganda by the opposition.
"Our goal is not only to highlight what the NDA government has accomplished in a short period of four years but also to let people know about all the schemes that have been launched by this administration that are certain to improve the lives of all including the poor, backwards, Dalits, and minorities," Rai said.
The Monday drive was part of a two-week campaign launched by the Bihar BJP to mark the completion of the four-years of the Modi administration. On Sunday, the party organized a 'Meeting of the Intellectuals' at Gyan Bhawan to discuss ways to spread the party message at district and block levels.
