  • 8 Slice(s) avocado, thinly sliced
  • 0.25 cup(s) Italian salad dressing
  • 1 tablespoon(s) mayonnaise
  • 4 Slice(s) oatmeal or whole wheat bread, toasted
  • 4 Slice(s) processed American cheese
  • 8 Slice(s) tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup(s) alfalfa sprouts

Avocado Sandwich Directions

  1. Toss avocado slices gently with Italian dressing; drain well, reserving dressing.
  2. Spread mayonnaise evenly over 1 side of each bread slice.
  3. Top bread slices evenly with avocado, American cheese slices, tomato, and alfalfa sprouts.
  4. Drizzle sandwiches with Italian dressing, and serve immediately.
