Either we live in the past or in future and that too in the lap of negativity. This habit of ours creates roadblocks in our way to find solutions of various problems of our life.
It is interesting that when we are depressed, we are actually living in the past. We are engrossed in thinking only about what we could have done and achieved but failed and then have a deep sense of self-pity. On the other hand, when we are anxious, we live in the future grappling with a sense of suspense, suspicion and fear of unhappening.
The truth, however remains that neither we can bring back our past to correct and rectify our wrongdoing nor can guarantee a definite future as the happenings of future will be dependent on so many uncontrollable factors. Then what actually remained with us. Is not it our present, the beautiful moment on hand?
It's an eternal truth of life that whosoever acts and lives in the present - the most lovely 'Present' the Almighty has given to us , taking lessons from the past and with open mind for the future, he not only derives lots of pleasure in all his activities but also becomes capable of ensuring a bright future. You may also put it like this: Present is a ready cash, whereas past is a cancelled cheque and future is a promissory note.
So, take some moments out of your busy schedule to pause and ponder over the whole issue. Believe me, you would initiate major course correction to move forward for a more enjoyable journey in your life.
